Hello from my recliner on a beautiful Autumn morning. The fog has hung low over the river and the cold mountain air shocked the body on the morning walk with the pup. It's shaping up to be a fantastic day to craft and work on a recently begun watercolor painting. Just look at the view out my front door!
World Card Making Day on Oct 7 ended up being a day for an emergency surgery for me. I am doing really well, but that day is pretty much erased from my brain. Making cards was not on my radar for that day, after all. My doctors and nurses at our small town in Western North Carolina took great care and got me home to recover a few days later. Hubby is looking after me, has been attentive to fixing my meals and making sure I dont overdo any activity. With no driving anytime soon, going shopping for even the basics, or even riding to look at the pretty leaves of the season -it has curtailed my usual comings and goings to say the least!
Now I am free to use my time at home between resting, eating well and creating! In recent months I have had to create a time to be in my studio, with shuttling trout guides down the river every day, errands and everything involved with getting healthier. For now, I can focus on myself and creating. It feels good to be doing that again.
Stay tuned for more ramblings from my studio, new card ideas that you can make, and even Live classes on Facebook. The "lives" are a little scarey, but I would love the opportunity to inspire you to craft and let creativity "fall" into your life too!
